Picture @ my neighbors house to see some large quartz crystals shipped from Brazil. They have since been moved.



 Dr. Roy Sites passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008.


"Dr. Roy Sites, accomplished geologist, from Petersburg, W.Va. lost his battle with cancer Sunday, November 23, 2008.He is survived by his two daughters, Shannon Sites Lowe and Sheilah Kathleen Sites of Bluefield, W.Va. and his only grandson Chase Lowe.In Dr. Sites’ memory, the family has requested in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to either an academic geology scholarship fund for a student of Petersburg High School or the family. Please mail any contributions to First Community Bank, 101 Sanders Lane, Bluefield, VA, in honor of Dr. Roy Sites. Schaeffer Funeral Home, 11 North Main Street, Petersburg, W.Va. is in charge of arrangements." - quote from  www.legacy.com

  Roy Sites and John Marr were the main instigators of the Rock Garden at the Virginia Division of Mineral Resources in Charlottesville, Virginia.
